Day 01 - Arrived at Airport --> Negombo

Welcome to Sri Lanka. At the airport, you will be greeted by our Private Driver who will take you to Negombo. Spend the rest of the day leisurely at the beach.

Day 02 - Negombo --> Sigiriya

After breakfast proceeds to Sigiriya. En-route visit Pinnawala Elephant orphanage. Check in to the hotel in Sigirya. Afternoon visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress.

Day 03 - Polonnaruwa --> Sigiriya

After breakfast proceeds to Polonnaruwa Ancient City. Explore the Polonnaruwa City. After having Lunch Proceed to experience Sri Lankan wildlife at Minneriya national park

Day 04 - Sigiriya --> Kandy

After breakfast proceeds to Kandy. En route visit Dambulla cave temple and Matale Sri Muthumari Amman Hindu Temple.Afternoon Spend the time at the hotel

Day 05 - Sigiriya --> Dambulla --> Kandy

After breakfast Proceed sightseeing in Kandy. First, visit Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden. After having lunch visit the Kandy Temple of Tooth Relic and Cultural dance show.

Day 06 - Ramboda --> Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast proceeds to Nuwara Eliya. En route visit Ramboda Waterfall, Tea Plantation and Tea Factory.

Day 07 - Nanuoya to Ella Train Journey

After breakfast leave for a walk-in Nuwara Eliya City and Gregory’s Lake. After that drive to NanuOya Railway Station to take a train to Ella. Get off the train at the Ella Station. Enjoy the view and leisurely spend the evening in Ella.

Day 08 - Haputale --> Ella

After breakfast proceeds to Haputale. Visit Lipton Seat and drive back to Ella. After Having Lunch leave for sightseeing in Ella. Visit Nine Arches Bridge and Climb Little AdamsPeak.

Day 09 - Ella --> Tissamaharama

After Breakfast, Proceed to the Thissamaharama. En route visit Rawana Waterfall and Buduruwagala Rock Temple. In the Evening, You can visit Thissamaharama lake and explore the dry zone’s natural beauty and bird habitat around the lake.

Stay Overnight In Tissamaharama

Day 10 - Tissamaharama --> Yala --> Mirissa

In the early Morning proceeds to Yala National Park for the Safari. After the safari, you will be transferred to Mirissa. Enjoy the afternoon in Mirissa Beach.

Day 11 - Mirissa Beach

Leisurely spend the day in Mirissa beach

Day 12 - Whales Watching --> Mirissa

Early morning leave for Whales Watching. Enjoy the afternoon in Mirissa Beach.

After breakfast Proceed to Negombo, En route visit Galle Dutch Fort, Turtle Hatchery, and Stilt Fishermen.

We had really amazing trip with Chamila (8 days trip). Chamila is unique! We were at his house for dinner, it was a unique experience. (His family is like him amazing !!!). We will never forget it. Chamila was very helpful in every way and was a pleasure to travel with. He stopped on route to let us take photos at any point and even bought us fruit or regional snack to try. We ate only with local restaurants, he made a point of seeking out authentic local food. The food reccomended by Chamila were delicious. He organized for us all extremaly nice hotels like: The Change in Kendy or amazing expirience in The Kingdom Ecolodge. He was a very careful driver on the extremely busy roads. Everything about the tour was fantastic, well planned (all our journey) and we saw so much in such a short time-from temples, tea plantation to elephants in their nature enviroment, it was incredible! We spent 1 week with Hashen, as Chamila was not available at that time and it was the first time I had a guide/driver for a trip. He recommended us the best places and authentic experiences in Sri Lanka according to our preferences and availabilities: He booked for us in advance our train tickets to Ella which can be tricky to get. He managed to arrange quality tours with guides and told us the price in advance so that we were prepared and not surprised. He also suggested and booked for us a traditional dance show from Kandy and placed us in the first row, which was really worth it. The spectacle was amazing. As a seasoned guide, he knew exactly where to bring us and when to assist us if help was needed or if something was missing in our planning. Overall we were very happy with the experience and I strongly recommend Hashen with Chamila Tours if you are planning a trip to Sri Lanka. 👍
