Day 01 - Arrived at Airport --> Negombo

Pick up from the Colombo airport and drives to Negombo. Afternoon visit Negombo fish market, Dutch canal and river boat trip ( sunset boat trip with local dinner at the local house ).

Day 02 - Negombo --> Sigiriya

After Breakfast at the hotel Transfer to Dambulla – 4 hours drive approximately.

Visit Dambulla Cave Temple , Village Safari by Canoe Boat with local lunch and Afternoon Climb Pidurangala Rock for Sunset.

Stay Overnight in Sigiriya

Day 03 - Polonnaruwa --> Sigiriya

After breakfast at the Hotel, Start to Climb Sigiriya Lion Rock. After that go for a Safari in Minneriya National Park in the afternoon. Have an Ayurvedha Massage & Drive back to the Hotel.

Day 04 - Sigiriya --> Kandy

After breakfast at the hotel, Drive to Kandy. En route Visit Dambulla Vegetable Market Kandy Temple of tooth, walk around the Kandy lake ,Kandy culture dance show.

Day 05 - Knuckles --> Kandy

Morning proceeds to Knuckles range Treking with lunch. afternoon drive back to the hotel in Kandy.

Day 06 - Kandy --> Kithulgala --> Nallathanniya

After breakfast at the Hotel Proceeds to Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden , AmbuluwawaTower , Kithulgala white water rafting and drives to Delhouse(Nallathanniya).

Day 07 - Nallathanniya --> Nuwara Eliya

Early Morning 02.00 AM Start to climb Adamspeak and back to the hotel around 10:00 AM. After Breakfast at the hotel Proceed to Nuwara Eliya. En route visit St Clairs’ Waterfall, Devon Waterfall

Day 08 - Nuwara Eliya --> Ella

Early morning at 05:00 AM starts the Horton plains walk. After the hike, take a train from Nanu Oya to Ella.

Day 09 - Ella --> Haputale --> ELLA

After Breakfast at the hotel Proceed to Haputale. Visit Liptonseat. Then drive back to Ella and climb Little Adamspeak, 9 Arches Bridge. Afternoon go for a Cooking Demonstration.

Day 10 - Ella --> Tissamaharama

Morning 05.30 AM Start to climb Ella Rock and then proceed to Tissamaharama. En route visit Upper Diyaluma Waterfall and drive to Tissamaharama.

Day 11 - Tissamaharama --> Tangalle

Do morning safari in Yala National Park and drives to Tangalle

Day 12 - Tangalle

Beach relax and same day do bird watching on a canoe in Tangalle Lagoon. Afternoon do Rekawa turtle watch, BBQ dinner on the beach.

Day 14 - Tangalle --> Galle --> Airport

We had really amazing trip with Chamila (8 days trip). Chamila is unique! We were at his house for dinner, it was a unique experience. (His family is like him amazing !!!). We will never forget it. Chamila was very helpful in every way and was a pleasure to travel with. He stopped on route to let us take photos at any point and even bought us fruit or regional snack to try. We ate only with local restaurants, he made a point of seeking out authentic local food. The food reccomended by Chamila were delicious. He organized for us all extremaly nice hotels like: The Change in Kendy or amazing expirience in The Kingdom Ecolodge. He was a very careful driver on the extremely busy roads. Everything about the tour was fantastic, well planned (all our journey) and we saw so much in such a short time-from temples, tea plantation to elephants in their nature enviroment, it was incredible! Thank you so much Chamila for everything. We are sure, You are the best guide in Sri Lanka!!! Date of experience: January 2020

We spent 1 week with Hashen, as Chamila was not available at that time and it was the first time I had a guide/driver for a trip. He recommended us the best places and authentic experiences in Sri Lanka according to our preferences and availabilities: He booked for us in advance our train tickets to Ella which can be tricky to get. He managed to arrange quality tours with guides and told us the price in advance so that we were prepared and not surprised. He also suggested and booked for us a traditional dance show from Kandy and placed us in the first row, which was really worth it. The spectacle was amazing. As a seasoned guide, he knew exactly where to bring us and when to assist us if help was needed or if something was missing in our planning. Overall we were very happy with the experience and I strongly recommend Hashen with Chamila Tours if you are planning a trip to Sri Lanka. 👍
