Surrounded with lush green forests and comprising of the beautiful Kelani river, the location becomes a prominent spot in Sri Lanka for great thrills and adventure.   • You will be picked up from your Hotel in Negombo / Colombo or Airport and then proceed to Kithulgala.

  • After reaching Kitulgala, ready to enjoy a trek of 1.5 Km to the natural rock pools and waterfalls of Kataran Oya.

  • 7 Natural pools are there where you can experience Rock Sliding in a 5-meter waterfall into the rock pool while wearing safety gear.

  • Enjoy and swim in the cool and clean waters after a Confidence Jump activity into a beautiful rock pool safely.

  • After that try your hand at Canoeing.

  • Experience White Water Rafting of 5 km in the scenic Kelani River which covers 5 major rapids and 4 minor rapids. (Before White Water rafting instructors will give you a safety briefing)
  • After adventurous rafting enjoys a local traditional Lunch.
  • Arrive at the base area of Kitulgala for your drive back to Negombo / Colombo

We had really amazing trip with Chamila (8 days trip). Chamila is unique! We were at his house for dinner, it was a unique experience. (His family is like him amazing !!!). We will never forget it. Chamila was very helpful in every way and was a pleasure to travel with. He stopped on route to let us take photos at any point and even bought us fruit or regional snack to try. We ate only with local restaurants, he made a point of seeking out authentic local food. The food reccomended by Chamila were delicious. He organized for us all extremaly nice hotels like: The Change in Kendy or amazing expirience in The Kingdom Ecolodge. He was a very careful driver on the extremely busy roads. Everything about the tour was fantastic, well planned (all our journey) and we saw so much in such a short time-from temples, tea plantation to elephants in their nature enviroment, it was incredible! We spent 1 week with Hashen, as Chamila was not available at that time and it was the first time I had a guide/driver for a trip. He recommended us the best places and authentic experiences in Sri Lanka according to our preferences and availabilities: He booked for us in advance our train tickets to Ella which can be tricky to get. He managed to arrange quality tours with guides and told us the price in advance so that we were prepared and not surprised. He also suggested and booked for us a traditional dance show from Kandy and placed us in the first row, which was really worth it. The spectacle was amazing. As a seasoned guide, he knew exactly where to bring us and when to assist us if help was needed or if something was missing in our planning.
